"Affiliate marketing" is a process where you find someone else's product to sell, then set up a link to the product. If someone buys the product through your link, you will earn a commission. The products in question could be either hard goods, books, CD, whatever: if you go this route, the numbers per sale will be lower but your sales will increase. The best thing to promote are known as ebooks or information products.

I like information products because there is no exchange of goods, you do not need to carry any inventory. You, as the affiliate, are required to do nothing except set up your portal and cash your cheques.
