Multiple Revenue Streams for Homeschooling Families
Does your “normal” day resemble any of the following?
* Trying to juggle multiple children who need Mommy “RIGHT NOW!!” for help with school?
* Wanting to encourage entrepreneurship in your children, but feel discouraged because you’re not quite sure how to do it yourself?
* Needing some additional revenue for the family budget without having a “boss” calling the shots?
* Being exasperated by a lack of organization in your daily schedule and wondering where the day went at bedtime?
* Feeling frustrated because you hear about other homeschool moms who have businesses of their own and you have no clue how to fit one more thing into your busy days?
If you don’t see yourself in any of those scenarios, PLEASE don’t tell me…I don’t want to know. :o)
However, if any of those situations remind you of your home, as they do mine, I want to ask you a really tough question:
What are you doing to CHANGE your situation???
Albert Einstein is credited with saying that “insanity” is continuing to do the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
Pretty profound, huh? And yet, it is very true. If we continue to “survive” your daily life, trying to homeschool your children, run your household AND bring in an additional income or revenue for your family, all without making any changes, why do we expect things to get better?
I say “we” because I, too, struggle with the supposed “comfort” of keeping things the same…even though I know if I just implement a few simple changes, some parts of my days could be less hectic. If I were to make my youngest daughter her chocolate milk the night before, she could get up and have her milk without aggravating her sisters to get it to her NOW! (Please refrain from judging me about giving my children chocolate milk…it is Ovaltine, after all. *wink*)
I want to make something crystal clear right now.
If you spend time comparing yourself to other families who “seem” to have it all together, I have news for you. I’ve been to these people’s homes, and even peered inside their refrigerators, and none are as spotless and perfect as they seem on the surface. :o)
As homeschool moms, we need to take our mentors off their pedestals (that most don’t even WANT to be on anyway) and realize that they struggle just like we do.
One of my “real mom” mentors has already released a couple adult children into the world and has several still at home. I sent her an email one night thanking her for a wonderful nugget of wisdom she shared with me about raising boys. (We have 4 girls and our baby is a boy and, frankly, he freaks me out sometimes and I needed her wise counsel! And he’s only one year old! *smiles*)
In her reply to my email, she did not try to climb higher up on a pedestal…instead, she asked me to pray that she would remember those words she shared with me as she continues to raise her older boys!
These are people I want to learn from and be inspired by…and these are people I want to share with YOU!
Our MRS Homeschool.com members share many of these things in common:
* We want the freedom to live our lives without having to answer to a bureaucratic system that doesn’t understand our core beliefs and values.
* We want to be able to live our lives at home, wherever that may be, homeschooling our children, running our businesses, blessing others and reaping financial rewards because of our work.
* We want to do all these things without fear or failing our families.
* We want to know that what we do in this life matters to people and our communities, and that what we do helps others in a genuine way.
* We want to be loved for who we are and what we do…and even loved for what we choose NOT to do!
* We want our children to grow up with a strong faith and a sense of honor towards their parents…not because we want our egos stroked, but because we’ve lived honestly and sought to bless others more than we are blessed.
* We want to be able to mentor others and show them that anything is possible because we can and have achieved anything we have set our minds to.
If you’re ready to hear about REAL homeschool moms with REAL strategies on how to deal with the REAL challenges of raising a family, homeschooling AND living a multiple revenue lifestyle, you’re in the right place.
At MRS Homeschool.com, you’ll get a new interview every month with me asking other homeschoolers tough questions about how they deal with the highs and lows of the Multiple Revenue Streams (MRS) life.
This is a “no sugar coating” zone… If you are looking for someone who will tell you life as a MRS Homeschool mom is easy-peasy, you are in the WRONG place. Please click the back button and go on your merry way. I am SO not that type of person…just ask my husband and anyone that’s known me for any length of time. :o)
If, however, you’re ready to learn from others who have either “been there and done that” or are currently “there and doing”, I’d like to invite you to join our members at MRS Homeschool.com
In addition to these monthly interviews, you’ll have access to what I like to call my private “digital black book” of resources. These are websites that I use for help and information with my homeschooling AND my businesses. The “digital black book” library will grow as the months go by and we incorporate resources that other members share with me and I feel are an asset to share with everyone.
So, right about now, you’re beginning to wonder what curriculum you’re going to have to “do without” next semester so you can afford to pay to join this site, right?
(Note…I am not a mind reader…just experienced with online “sales letters.” *wink*)
I really went back and forth for a long time on how to make this site as affordable as possible, while making it worth my while for all the time and effort that goes into building the content for the site and maintaining it.
I know that one of my mentors suggests pricing a website with monthly audio interviews at NO LESS than $97 a month, but HOLY MOLY that’s expensive! And I want these encouraging and information filled audios to within reach of every homeschool family.
So, after lots of consideration, I decided on the price of just $9.97 per month, with NO contracts, NO strings and NO hoops to jump through to cancel whenever you want.
This site is not for people who want tips on how to homeschool their children or which curriculum is the best one to use.
It’s also not for someone who likes to show off what an amazing homeschool mom they are so other people can put them on a pedestal for all the things they *think* they do in their own strength.
Lastly, it’s not for someone looking for a “silver bullet” that will fix all their problems and guide them to the path of easy money and a hassle-free life.
Nope…not going to happen here.
This membership site IS for people who are:
* motivated
* want to encourage entrepreneurship in their children or spouses
* want to not only bless their families with multiple incomes, but use
that income to bless their community and beyond
If that fits your family, join the MRSHomeschool.com community now! Just click the link below and in about 5 minutes, you’ll have access to our private members area and this month’s interview!
